Zoella Beauty: Jelly&Gelato | Review

So I have to admit, Zoella’s products are always photogenic…saying that it’s so dull here the lighting dosen’t make for good photos! The packaging is always amazing not to mention the scents, so inevitably I had high expectations. I would definitely class them as ‘bathroom display worthy’…so if you want to show off your bathroom’s new look, these will add something extra to it.

So, what did I think of it?

Scent: With her products, it’s kind of hard to guess what they smell like as they all have seals on them which is both good and bad. I managed to slightly smell it through the shower gel and really liked it….only to find it was actually pieced already…yay! :/

The scent for this collection is Elderflower & Pomegranate. I was worried that it would be too sweet and overpowering at first but for a very fruity, fresh smell, it’s actually very light.

Packaging: The packaging is definitely my favourite so far out of all of the Zoella Beauty collections. The theme ‘Jelly & Gelato’ along with the bright/pastel colours are lovely and the colours are so cute too.

Pricing: Zoella’s Lifestyle products (for me) are a little overpriced but her Beauty products are such an amazing value – just the right amount I’d say.

So many YouTubers nowadays have merch that costs way too much so I’m glad someone is sensible when it comes to pricing these.

The Products

Cream Scrub: Rather than a rough scrub which feels like sandpaper, this felt quite smooth to apply. The scrub also doubles up as a cream so it polishes your skin as well as moisturising it.

Shower Sauce: This shower gel has a strange yet nice texture. You can almost leave your fingerprints in it and it is kind of like jelly! My brother actually said it smelt like Turkish Delight – which I agree with, never thought of that, Although slightly – not a strong , sweet smell.

Body Pudding: This product is moisturising and doesn’t leave you with that ‘icky sticky’ feeling like a lot of body creams do. It also has small, soft purple beads within the cream that are absorbed when you rub it into your skin.

What’s your favourite Zoella Beauty product?

I am not being paid to review or mention any of these products. All of this is my own opinion.

I really want to try the Body Pudding. I have a lot of products from her older ranges and I agree they are slightly over-priced.

Indeed – I want a few of her products but they’re just so much money. The Body Pudding is my fave!
