It’s taken me literally all year to collect this and to save up for things because nothing is cheap nowadays. I received a product for free which I I will mention below and others I either bought myself or was given as a present.
Enjoy reading my favourites for Day two of Blogmas!
Neutrogena, Hydro Boots Gel Cream (dry skin): This feels so smooth and fresh when you apply it to your skin. It can be worn as a base for make-up rather than a primer and I am sure this would be better than most primers as it constantly is releasing its goodness into your skin for 24hr moisture.
Nivea, Hand Cream: I am not really into hand creams but this really did help. I usually apply this at night with my hand lotion gloves (2 pairs for £1 a Primark – fab!)
Zoella Beauty, Body Pudding: This smells so good and feels good too. Read my more in-depth review here. If you’ve also read this post here – this Blogmas post was written before the events of this post so people know I am not contradicting myself.
Avon, Royal Face Jelly Moisturiser: I bought this since it got pretty good reviews. It’s always on sale for around £1.50 on Avon’s own website but its £3 on Amazon so because I was getting stuff from Amazon I got it there. After a week of applying it day/night, I had no dry skin for around 3 months! I mean that’s pretty good for a moisture that’s less than a fiver. Shows you that you don’t need to spend big to get results.
Sephora, Avocado Hand Mask: It smelt great and really made my hands feel smooth. I also loved the fact it was full of product on the inside and well protected so you could still do anything as the outside was layered so as to not get products everywhere.
L’Oréal, Blemish Rescue Mask: Having always had struggles with Black/Whiteheads, I was on the lookout for peel-off masks but never found any that really worked. Within the first use I could see such a difference. Check out my more in-depth review here. There is a brightening one beside the blemish rescue but I didn’t find it worked in the end so just ignore that product!
LUSH, Oatifix – I HATE Winter because it means my skin gets sore, dry, red, flaky and stingy. This keeps that under-control. It makes my face look healthier, cleaner and helps with the dry spells on my face. ALSO, this product was made on November 9th and I bought it on the 10th…HOW FRESH IS THAT?! One of the many reasons I love Lush. Can’t get any fresher than that compared to the millions of face mask that sit on the shelves for weeks or months.
L’Oréal, Infallible Sculpt Contouring Palette: So I am useless at contouring, but this is so good and I can actually use it for once. To blend, I use a fluffy ‘blush’ brush which makes it so natural.
I (Heart) Brows, Brow Kit: I am in love with this. It’s easy to shape and fill in your eyebrows and blends easily if you need it. It also stays on all day and doesn’t come and land on your face when you’re applying make up. It’s in Superdrug for less than £3 – yes please!
Collection, Long Lasting Perfection Concealer: I’ve always loved this for days where I need a bit of make-up on but can’t be bothered to waste my foundation so the colours match my skin perfectly and don’t create under my eyes either.
My Favourite Bag
As featured on the New Look’s Instagram.
New Look: I bought this bag for my holiday’s as I need a small, summer bag and this was perfect. I ordered this online so when it arrived it was smaller than expected but it still did the job. I love how it is trendy though as I could still use this next year or just sunny days in general – although in Scotland that’s like a once in a blue moon occasion.
